MP SPREADS THE WORD at St. Anne’s Primary School

Local MP, Andrew Gwynne, has presented special prize dictionaries – donated by the Rotary Club of Denton and Audenshaw – to Year three pupils at St. Anne’s Primary School in Denton, for their support with Rotary charitable work.

In the past St Anne’s pupils have supported the Denton and Audenshaw Rotary Club on a number of occasions, helping them with Christmas collections at Crown Point North for the past two years. And last year the school  choir also sang Carols there while collecting money for the ‘Eradicate polio’ fund which raised £250 to buy a Rotary Lifebox.

Andrew Gwynne MP said:

“I am very pleased to have presented the Year Three children at St.  Anne’s Primary School with these dictionaries on behalf of Denton and Audenshaw Rotary Club. It is a great way to show their appreciation for all the help they have given with local charity work.”
