The Spice Inn received a special House of Commons certificate and embroidered Tiffin Cup 2013 chef jacket to mark their achievement in this year’s competition from local MP, Andrew Gwynne. Denton South Councillor, Claire Francis also joined the MP at the granting of this special award.
Overall the Tiffin Cup champion was chosen from a shortlist of national restaurants, each representing their region of Britain in the Grand Final cook-off in the House of Commons.
The Spice Inn restaurant was nominated by Andrew Gwynne MP, and was one of the hundreds from across the UK to be entered into the annual contest.
