Local MP for Denton and Reddish, Andrew Gwynne, joined locals on Friday 14 July for the opening of Denton’s newest restaurant, Istanbul Grill.
Gwynne was invited by new owners Yusuf and Michelle to officially open Ashton Road’s newest eatery which offers authentic Mediterranean and Turkish cuisine.
The new restaurant was built upon the site of an old bank which later became the Debra Charity Shop. After the charity shop closed the new owners transformed the premises into a modern restaurant which will bring an unused site, within the town centre boundary, back into use.
Offering authentic foods from across the Mediterranean, Istanbul Grill has a wide-ranging menu which specialises Turkish mezes and grills. Istanbul Grill is a family friendly, modern Turkish restaurant company offering trendy yet relaxed dining, inspired by the traditional charm of Turkish hospitality.
Andrew Gwynne said:

“The menu is really exciting, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was really fun. I’d highly recommend Istanbul Grill for couples and families alike.”
