Andrew Gwynne, Labour’s parliamentary candidate for Denton and Reddish, has announced the results of his 2019 Local Business Awards to mark Small Business Saturday.
Gwynne, who has run the awards since 2015, opened nominations in October before Parliament was dissolved for the General Election.
Over 4,000 nominations were received from constituents for over 250 local businesses across Audenshaw, Denton, Dukinfield and Reddish.
On Saturday, Gwynne presented awards to winners and runners-up in each ward. Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester, joined Gwynne to present the award to the overall winner Bee Weighed, Denton.
