Andrew Gwynne, MP for Denton and Reddish, has concluded his annual Local Business Awards with the winners announced on Small Business Saturday.
The awards celebrate the diversity of our small businesses, and the contribution they make across the constituency.
Winners were determined by nominations from the public, with over 9000 nominations received for 102 businesses.
The overall winner was announced as Café Plus on Manchester Road in Denton, with winners and runners up being announced in each council ward in the constituency.
“I’m delighted that once again the Local Business Awards have highlighted the immense contribution made by small businesses in Denton and Reddish.
“Small businesses have faced some immense challenges in recent years, not least with the pandemic and cost of living crisis, so to have such a thriving group of them in my patch is inspiring to see.
“I want to pay tribute to all those small businesses who were involved this year, and particularly to all our winners, who have shown how valued they are by our local community.
“I look forward to seeing these awards continue to go from strength-to-strength next year.”
