Andrew Gwynne, MP for Denton and Reddish, is encouraging constituents to have their say on council off-street parking in Tameside.

Council off-street parking is an important council-supplied service which provides all visitors to Tameside with access to local shops, leisure facilities, open spaces and vital services. The local economy would not be able to operate effectively without it.

From time to time, a review of the service needs to be conducted to ensure that it is still fit for purpose. That time has now arrived. Until Friday 27 March 2020, Tameside Council are running a listening exercise through the council website.

Andrew Gywnne said:

“I would encourage all of my constituents in Tameside and beyond to participate in the survey on council off-street parking in Tameside.

“How council off-street parking operates is important to both the local economy and the local environment.

“It is important that constituents have their say on the service to help develop a fair, viable and sustainable future for council off-street parking in Tameside.”
