Andrew Gwynne, MP for Denton and Reddish, is today calling on the next generation of social, political and policy leaders in Denton and Reddish to sign up for Future Leaders Connect 2021.

Future Leaders Connect is the British Council’s policy and leadership programme for 25 – 35 year-olds from around the UK and world. This year’s iteration of Future Leaders Connect will be conducted online, over a six-week period and will offer future leaders the opportunity to develop their skills, expand their networks and plan to take their policy ideas forward.

Successful applicants will gain exclusive access to policy experts and training and be given the chance to discuss policy ideas with Parliamentarians and Government.

Members will also join a network of like-minded policymakers from Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan and Poland. Applications for the 2021 programme are live until 4pm on the 5 July.

Backing the programme, Andrew Gwynne said:

“This is a great opportunity for young people across Audenshaw, Denton, Dukinfield, Reddish and the Heatons who want to change the world.

British Council’s Future Leaders Connect gives the next generation of leaders the opportunity to develop their skills and take their policy ideas to the next stage.

I would urge anyone who is interested to apply before the deadline on the 5th of July. The future is in the hands of the next generation – and we need you!”
