Andrew Gwynne, MP for Denton and Reddish, visited his local TSB branch on Ashton Road to hear how hear how branch Partners there are supporting the local community.
During the visit, Andrew met with TSB’s Denton Bank Manager, Charlene Grant and Russ Brierley, Area Director for Greater Manchester before being given a tour of the branch and chatting at length with staff, hearing first-hand about how TSB is supporting customers and local communities.
Russ and Charlene explained to Andrew Gwynne MP how TSB is the bank that only serves local customers and local businesses, in order to fuel local economies, and to help create thriving local communities right across Britain.
Andrew Gwynne said:
“I dropped into the Denton TSB branch to find out a bit more about their involvement in local banking and was impressed by their desire to remain high street focused unlike some of the other bigger banks.
“It was nice to meet Charlene, the manager, and staff member, Celia, as well as all the other friendly members of staff.”
Charlene Grant, Bank Manager, TSB Denton comments:
“We want to better serve our customers – this is really important to the team here in Denton. We were delighted to meet with Andrew Gwynne MP and explain how TSB is supporting our customers and our local community.
“Andrew was also pleased to hear that we are supporting Blood Bikes Manchester as our Local Charity Partner for the next 12 months, which delivers blood to the majority of hospitals and hospices in Manchester, to help with the fantastic work that they do in the community.”
TSB was built to bring more competition to UK banking and ultimately make banking better for all UK consumers. TSB only serves local customers and local businesses, to help fuel local economies, because communities thriving across Britain is a good thing for all of us.
Their five million customers appear to notice: TSB is Britain’s most recommended high street bank and was recently identified as one of the top 10 big companies to work for.
