Denton MP, Andrew Gwynne, visited the town’s newest restaurant, Love Mumbai, to celebrate the opening of the business and to receive a donation from the proprietors to a local charity of his choice.
Love Mumbai, located on Ashton Road at Crown Point, has just opened in the former Aashiana restaurant building. The modern refit sits alongside a new contemporary menu offering all the traditional favourite curry dishes alongside a wide range of new south Asian culinary delicacies.
Andrew Gwynne MP said:
“Love Mumbai is a fantastic new local restaurant and the refurbishment of the building is just outstanding. Offering a modern twist on south Asian food, I hope the business goes from strength to strength.
“I would also like to thank the owners for making such a kind donation to the Friends of Tameside Young Carers from their opening night takings. The charity offers support to those children and young people who have to caring for others, often adults. Their invaluable work allows these kids to have a bit of a normal childhood, and I know this donation will be very gratefully received by them.”
