oldhamsA big thank you to the hundreds of Denton residents, and a number of the Denton Councillors, who attended the Langtree ‘Public Consultation’ event on their housing plans for the Oldham Batteries site.

Your turnout was fantastic.  Sadly as it was a sitting day in Parliament, I was stuck down in London, but I’ve had lots of reports as to what was said, and the strength of feeling.

We await a formal planning application being submitted to Tameside Council, and I will keep you updated through this website (and by email or letter if you’ve signed the traffic petition).

In the meantime, I’ve cobbled together a mythbuster, not least because Langtree’s agents messages seemed to change as the day went on! I hope you’ll find it useful…  (Click here for Mythbuster)

You can also sign my e-petition online here (Click here) or download and print out a paper version to get your friends and neighbours to sign up too (Click here)

Thanks for your support.
